Mr Bernard Williams, the last owner of Kerr's Drapers, 6 High Street, Dartford operating the Lamson Rapid Wire propulsion. According to Proctor, the system was installed in 1900 and rented from Lamsons for seventy years before Kerrs purchased it for half a crown (£0.125). |
