was not fitted up. The car could be propelled by visitors pressing a button.
It was pulled along the wire by an extra cable (which can be seen on
the picture on the right) and an electric motor.

typical of Rapid Wire systems - perhaps it was done to save space. The
cord is missing completely at this end.
